Dancing in NYC

Can anyone recommend places to dance in New York City? School will be closed for a month, and I definitely want to continue practicing. We've found a few places from the Dance Directory, but would appreciate feedback on personal experiences and reccommendations.

Both actually. For practice, we've heard about Dance Chelsea. We haven't had any recommendations regarding socials yet.

Dance Chelsea is very small. Perhaps Dance NY or Ballroom on Fifth (not much bigger, but have line of dance etc that is more normal sized)...
