I see a lot of discussions about patterns and fabrics for lady's dancewear, and recommendations on where to buy these things. However, does anyone know of a good place to get patterns and fabric for mens' dancewear? Mainly I'm thinking of dance pants.

I haven't personally made either of these, but I noted a couple of patterns for dance pants for men mentioned on another site that I'm considering trying to make for my boyfriend.

First, Jalie 2325 is a pattern for men's skating pants, which could be used for latin.

Second, Vogue 2616 is supposed to be adaptable for men's latin pants.

Finally, I'm also considering trying to make Vogue 8049 for my boyfriend for just general social dancing. These were not mentioned in the forum where I found mention of the other patterns, so I don't know if anybody has tried making them for dance.

You don't really need to do a pattern to get Dance Pants for men. You only need to visit www.dancepants.com and supply them with your actual measurements using their EZ online order form
