I'm going to my uncle's wedding and am taking my guy friend(we are freshman in highschool)I would like for him to learn east coast swing,do you think he might beable to do well by march 25? Also how do I get him to say yes to extra help on learning swing??

Well, he can probably learn a limited amount if you can afford to do a few private lessons. I'm not sure you can get enough group classes in between now and then to make a big dent in the dance, but he'd probably be able to do a basic and some basic turns.

Does he want to get extra help?? If he seems like he does, just try encouraging him and tell him how well he's doing. If he isn't really interested, the pressure of doing this might be a big turnoff to him. Hopefully not, for your sake!

Pay for private EC swing lessons for a wedding!!! That is Ludicrous. Go to a local swing dance chapter. They will usually give a 30 min to 1 h primer to those that want to dance. And then dance a couple of evenings with your guy friend, he should be able to do well enough by March 25th.

no...I don't pay because the lessons are at my swing club after school on fridays..remember were in high school.
