Dear all, i am a student at university and have decided to do my dissertation on 'how celebrity endorsement has changed the image of ballroom dancing'. As I have danced myself for many years this is of interest to me and just wondered if any of you had any views on this yourselves. I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm assuming you're in the UK because I can't remember any celebrity endorsement of ballroom dancingin the US. Are you specifically looking into the effects of shows like "Strictly Come Dancing?"

Sounds like an interesting topic!

yes i'm in the UK. There have been many things just lately such as strictly come dancing and then there are films such as the one with Jeniffer Lopez. Its just been quite a big hit here. Thought the site might be useful for some views. Thanks for the reply Laura
