Hey everyone, I'm new to ballrom dance. I actually got into by taking a class at school. We had tryouts today and 26 girls tried out for 5 spots. I'm not sure if I made the team, so if I didn't then what do I do, because I don't want to stop dancing! I love it! But I also Live in Erda, which is by Tooele, which is a few minutes past the Salt Lake Airport! Please help! Thank you!

I also live in Utah, and there are many opportunities to dance. Most colleges have at least a swing club if not a ballroom dance club, the Murray Arts Center has dancing every week, and if you wanted to take lessons, there are many places to do so. Out of curiosity, which team did you try out for?

BYU in Provo has perhaps the #1 dance camp for adults in the country. Give them a call. They have a great dance program for their own students, and you should find out what they might have for you. You are not all that far away from them.

Good luck.
