So, we are all set to do the regional in Baton Rouge next week.....

After competiting for 10+ years, this more than likey is our last....Nick, my partner and husband has had a leg problem and can no longer dance.... He had a leg injury years ago playing basketball... finaly caught up with him

The problem is that he will not admit that he cannot dance... Each lesson we have, he comes home in pain, and puts ice on his leg, just so he can walk in the AM.... Finally after a month of this I said no more.... We have danced with the same coaches 10 years and I told them, dont push him anymore, dont coach tango because he cannot put this pressure on his ankles.... I see the results the next day... Our life has been dance for so long, but I cant watch this any longer....

Here is the good news.... I have 2 sons... One is flying in from TX, another from Atlanta for this comp.... Yup, they have never seen us dance, ever... If this is the last time, how cool for our sons to see us do it, one last time.

Janet. Yes there comes a time when one has to hang up the shoes. Its a pity with your obviouse experience that you should both disappeare off the dancing scene. Have you thought about teaching, even on a small scale.
