After the fallaway promenade in international tango, I seem to be facing opposite of line of dance. This makes me very uncomfortable.

What is the correct way to use this step?

The step makes 1/4 turn to right and then at the end 1/8 turn to left. So if you commence in promeande moving LOD, you end in promenade moving DW. Even if you ended up in promenade to moving to wall, you could do a tight twist turn or something.

Wouldudance. If you are refering to a Reverse Fallaway with a Slip Pivot. Try starting the Fallaway diagonal to the centre. If you are as skinney as a rake and your partner is built like a twig down the LOD might be fine. Not for me.

Anonimous. Yes I found it in my book page 279. It starts in the Tango down LOD, after the third step it is now moving diagnal to the center in a Fallaway Position. That's according to the chart. In the other dances the Fallaway doesn't get a mention.

The figure is not really characteristic for dances other than tango, so of course it doesn't get a mention.

There are other forms of fallaway that work well in multiple dances
