Hey I really want to get into salsa,swing and even ballroom dancing. I'm 16 is that to late to start or no?

hey!
of course its not too late! ANYONE can ballroom. in fact one of my teachers students began dancing when she was well into her 50s..and she is an AWESOME dancer. where are you located? you can use the studio search on this site or google. also you can use the yellow pages.

Hi Kelly, I started dancing when I was a freshman in college and knew absolutely nothing about ballroom dance and had no dance background to speak of. I have now been dancing for over 6 years and have competed in the college circuit for the last 3 of those years. I sometimes wish I had started earlier (like your are doing) but I never felt that starting at 18 put me at a disadvantage in any way. I started training to become a teacher at my studio about a month ago and absolutely love it! I'm very excited to be learning how to spread some of what I've learned over the past years around to others.
