Gown Pattern

If any one knows where I gan get a pattern for a ballroom gown, please let me know. I am trying to make one instead of always buying them and I have nothing to work off of. I found one on a website, no names, but they wanted $100 for the pattern because it is all made our of muslin for numerous uses, but it wasn't even in my size and they won't alter it. I am also trying to make a latin outfit with a tear away 360 skirt for a show dance i am doing, so even if it is just a pattern for the large flowing skirt it would help. Thanks blrmdncr2000@yahoo.com

Get Kwik Sew's "Swim and Actionwear" book for the bodice construction and do a web search for 'circle skirt' - there are several online articles on how to draft a skirt pattern.

I make most of my ballgowns using Kwik-Sew's princess-seamed dress pattern. I've put a bunch of notes regarding my experiences in making ballgowns on line at http://www.dancesportimage.com

One of these days I'll go back and really expand them...but truthfully that's not going to happen any time soon.
