Sure, why not? There are so many factors that make up a successful partnership -- current dance level is but one of them.

Chibi: What is important in any partnership beginning is that both partners are on the same level as to their goals. Both must learn to leave their egos at the door when they enter the studio for coaching or practice. Each must respect the others opinions and knowledge however minute or large at the time.
