Please Help Me with Basic Turn

Help! I think I am turning the wrong way on the basic turn... Does the girl turn out to her left or in to her right??? Any help is much appreciated. Thank You!

Hi.
It does help if you give a name to the figure and in which dance. I'm sure you will get an answer.

CB: Which way are you being led ??? You dont turn yourself you respond to a lead ?? Owen

CB. Whether it be Waltz, Foxtrot or Quickstep.or V.Waltz . The lady will turn clockwise on a Natural movement. That is for a beginner on the side nearest to the wall. A Reverse movement for a beginner is anti- clockwise usually to the middle of the hall. Lets hope the man is turning the same way.
Hopefully you realise that on the first half of the turn the lady is going backwards.
