Comfortable shoes?

Hello,
In doing research for comfortable shoes, I was told that ballroom shoes are comfortable as wedding shoes. I've been looking at the International shoes. I'm looking for a nice pair of open toe sandles in white.
Any suggestions or comments?
Thanks for any help you can provide me.
:)
It's greatly appreciated!

The thing with ballroom shoes is that every brand and even different styles within the same brands are different. You really need to try them in person to see what is right for you.

The real problem with wedding shoes is that you are on your feet for so long during the day that your feet swell. I've seen magazine articles that suggest you buy your wedding shoes a half size too big to accomodate this, and put removable insoles in them during the first part of the day before they swell.

Another idea is to bring more than one pair of shoes to the wedding. Have a pair for walking down the aisle, and then a more comfortable pair for the reception.

Good luck with your search! When I got married I wore a pair of square-toed shoes (so my toes would have room all day) very low-heeled (like 1/2" max) shoes. My dress was floor-length, so I went for comfort more than style, and only ended up sending about $15 by getting them at the Jessica McClintock outlet near where I live.
