Hi,
Im happy to hear that someone is doing a project on ballroom dancing instead of Rap. Pardon my attitude, but Ballroom Dancing includes dancing to great music. Ive been a musician for 30
years and love big band music. My husband used to have a big band and I took it over when he retired and well you never retire from music, if you get my drift. My band plays the big band sound and I have been in the ballroom era all my life thanks to my husband.
anyone can call us at 609 345-4875 after 8pm
if youve got questions we've got answers
hope we can help you, dr

I'm not a professional, but am willing to answer questions off-list. I don't like posting my e-mail on the web where "trollers" can get it, but if you take off the first and last letter you can contact me: dnortralp@isu.eduq

Alright. That sounds good.
First can you give me a little bit more information about yourself and your experience?
I will send you some questions once I have them all done, if that's alright?
Thank you

Hi Manda,
My suggestion to you is to call your local Dance Studio and make an appointment and they're going to love you for doing so.That's what they are looking for;someone who promote their Business.Believe me because I use to work on a Dance Studio and I get a lot of inquiries like yours. And another good reason for it is you know who you talking to,not just a wannabe if you know what I mean.

Wow, thanks a lot. I meant to ask my Jazz teacher last night but forgot. What if the studio doesn't have ballroom dancing??

If your jazz teacher doesn't know about a local ballroom studio, just look in the phone book, probably under "dance schools" or something like that.

Most ballroom studios have introductory specials for a few lessons or classes at a pretty cheap rate (compared to regular lesson rates). If your parents are willing and able to "invest" a little in your education, you might want to take such a package so you can get a first-hand feel for what the dancing is like.

Are you watching Dancing with the Stars (if you are in the U.S.)? It's a good intro to ballroom dancing, too.
