2.the knees under the feet ??( Marcus described in rolling spin.) Thanks a lot.

"1. collect step ( Tango, chase , step 3 in man.)"

This makes no sense as there is no collection in the chase of tango

"2.the knees under the feet ??"

Presumably the feet under the knees which is a good idea in most situations.

Thanks for reply.
2. Yes, it really confused me if someone said the knees under the feet . It is impossible . unless it has particular mening I did not know.
1. in figure " chase" , the first 3 steps are part of close promenade, the instructor emphasized the vertical line and energy obtained from body weight down from shoulders through left foot to squeeze the floor to prepare the step 4 , a small step outside lady. He call the action on 3 is collection step. or , ( in my mind, is the step 1 of progressive link is a collection step ? ( step two is drag as whole foot strongly kissing the floor to side slightly forward ( lady. small step .) IT seems to have earlier planning and gaterh the power in the core of the body and standing foot , to provok a sharp next step . right ?
What is your opinion about that to allow the body weight vertically to jouney to the end of the foot, cushion then let the weight reach the receiving foot. Through such technique , could we have more softened knee and power from the bodyweight movement ? Luca had ever explain such techiniqque in right lunge and syncopated pivot in tango. {right right contact, just allow the body wiehgt itself functions.} Is this the similar idea ? Sorry, I always have a lot of questions.
