Shoe question

I need to find out the best thing to use on men's patent leather ballroom shoes to keep them from sticking together. I've looked around the net and seen suggestions of anything from silicon oil to Vaseline. What say the experts here in this forum?

I keep mine on seperate cloth bags that came with it when I bought my Supadance.Anything that you put on your shoes will only attract dirt and it's hard to get rid off.

The simplest item I have found -- easy to carry and not at all messy -- is one of the "quick shine" type sponges made by a number of firms; readily available, and inexpensive. They are based on silicone, but application is quick, effective, and not at all messy. They come in their own plastic container, and last a long time.
