Practice shoes for men

Hi Guys,
Because of my knee problem, I cannot wear traditional kind of ballroom dancing shoes. Those shoes make my knees painful when I dance standard international. Latin is ok.

I have seen practice shoes which look like tennis shoes, but people can show "heels" and "toes" footwork on the dance floor. Those types would absorb shocks to my knees and would be suitable for kness problem.

Can any one kindly tell me a source of purchase?

Thank you.

Sounds like you're looking for dance sneakers. They have kind of a split sole design, allowing for pointing. They have them at discountdance.com as well as a lot of other places.

Do you have any shoe repair shops that resole dance shoes. If you do, they could put dance soles on whatever shoe is comfortable for you, as long as bottom is relatively flat.

We are social dancers and wear out a lot of soles dancing on floors that are not real clean. Tommy's shoe repair has saved us a lot of money.
