working with 2 intructors (male n female)

hi everyone,
I'm male and at present I am working with 2 instructors. One male and the other a female. The male instructor is a very good teacher when it comes to technique and leading. The female instructor is good but lacks the technique background.
Right now i am having juts one class every week alternating between the two (thats 4 classes a month) and i dont want to invest my money in more classes.
My male instructor says its good to be dancing with a female to have the feel and lead a lady.
HAve anyone here worked on a similar program and what kind of a program would yield good results.

I work 3 hours a week with my female instructor and hours as necessary with my male instructor.
With my (main) female instructor I do pretty much everything, from new steps to working on achieving the right amound of tension.
With my male instructor I work on frame/posture and anything that comes up during my normal lessons - be that an hour of pivots or an hour of rocks to promenade in tango.

The last month I'd say the ratio was about 4:1 for lessons with female to lessons with male instructor.
At the moment I feel I should be doing more of a 2:1 though.

We have always had two instructors, one gentleman and one lady. I feel the mix is the best combination for us. I think it would be even more effective, if they coordinated what they are working with us on. Occasionally our teachers do that, but most of the time what they work with us on is not cordinated. We are about to finish our last contract with the franchise. Than we our going to talk to two independent teachers ( one lady and one gentleman ) and see if we can work something out with both of them.

I worked with a male instructor for about three years when I first started dancing. He really helped me. He would show me something and I could pick it up faster than with a lady teacher. After 3 years I did get a little tired of dancing with him.

The female teacher that I dance with now is much better for me to dance with.
I still get occasional lessons from the male teacher. I think it's best to have both a male and female teacher. Now, I am better at picking up technique and movement from my female teacher. Especially if she wears pants during our lessons.

However, if I am learning new complicated technique--I need a male instructor.
