Good topic, and somewhat subjective I think....

I too would love to hear what others favorite music is... A while back I was conisdering doing a showcase VW number and begin to search for music... We ending up just not having the time to committ to a showcase, as we compete right now about once a month. But during the "maybe we will" process I found a VW song that I loved so much, everytime I listened to the song "it just spoke to me"....

Still maybe the next person would not feel what I did while listening to the music. It just seems to be such a personal thing, dosent it? Guess, that is the beauty of music.

Thankyou for responding, however I was sucked into the vortex of the net whilst once again trying to track down the "ultimate" dance tracks. You are ofcourse correct in saying that it is extremely personal, however, as I am new to the game and the site I thought I would just put it out there...so I do apologise for the delay.

It seems that there is a multitude of tunes displayed via this site, which I think is marvelous! It has enabled me to at least obtain the "most popular" 5 star rated. I also went on to Napster & Ebay to find some Victor Sylvester music sucessfully.... so I shall continue the journey. I am in Australia.

Jonbow. Some new releases worth looking at are The Ultimate Ballroom Albums. There are some ten or so previously never released on one album. All are vocals with past great music and singing from yesteryear. All suitable for ballroom dancing. My favourite Waltz which comes from the 60's is "With Pen in Hand ", Vikki Carr. on volum 8. double disks. Along Bobby Darin, Vic Damone, Dean Martin. Nat King Cole.and so on. I have eight of them. Hope this helps.
