I read someone article . He said qSq instead of Sqq is more effective than usual. In fact, we steal some time value from slow and add into first q in spite of we counted sQ-q. Less people care about lazy leg which Marcus had ever emphasized due to SLOW, but longer stride and light feeling. Not for examination. it seems work.

Don, your words was right: my coach's knawlege may be mucr more than I expected. Until now , we have similar view in dancing. except with that using of man's forearm about 8cm behind the wrist. I feel it will be better if my left shoulder weight can focus onto my rear armpit line and support by him. my back line will more flat , and less left shoulder up in pp.
Now, I am not persisted to dance Sqq in feather step, feather finish etc. qSq acceptable because of more fluidity line.

Yichen. Im not sure that I would like to use the timing qsq on a Feather Finish. After the Reverse Turn that would give the lady a Heel Lead on a quick. On the Feather Step with that timing. there would have to be a good reason to do it that way.

Dear Don, It looks more smoothly and dynamically when less time value on S counted and prolonged on first q done. Of course, I did not know what a judge will think .
In reverse turn, I use exact Sqq for maximum backward stride toward DC on my RF with my LF skimming the floor closed to RF, and heel turns on RF.Last night I watched a lady with small step and untidy foot work , IT was too bad.

No, it looks like someone dancing "rush - hold - rush" which is what it is.

You need to learn to draw out the movement of the slow to take it's full time value. There will still be plenty of time for an elongated quick, just not a stalled one.

Drive and swing up my body from &-3,( beat ) left foot passing RF a little bit ealier ( lady feather ) may avoid from rush -hold -rush . I will try what you said. Thanks for your straight advice .
I will be very appreciated if you put clips here to show the different effect of these two.
