Arthur Murray Refund

I am cancelling my AM "Student Enrollment Agreement". The agreement, as some of you may know, allows me to cancel at any time and receive a refund for all unused dance lessons already paid for and still within the term. The grey area is that they will withhold a "reasonable and fair" fee. I have many unused lessons to be refunded (thanks to their high pressure sales) and I am worried that they will try to gouge me with this fee. Does anyone have any experience with this fee and how much it is usually? I wish I would have made them specify an exact amount for this fee before I signed. Also, anyone have any difficulty getting their refund in the past? Thanks!

I won't tell u what experience I have however if u feel they have gouged u contact your State Attorney General Consumer Protection Unit. AM has had issues with them for years and years because of the contract agreements. Their so called processing fees are nothing more than writing a check and letting AMI know that the agreement was cancelled.
