I started lessons a couple of months ago and LOVE dancing - always have. My dance partner thinks that I enjoy dancing "too much" - that it excites me physically. I think he's nuts. Of course it's romantic but I think it's simply the love of the dance and the feelings that dancing evokes. Have any of you encountered this?

I enjoy dancing too-salsa/bachata/merenge. I haven't taken any lessons yet. Being on the dance floor and having a "one of the kind" exciting/romantic/hot dance with u partner did put me in trouble. Two men I danced with offered me to go out and " make out" with them because they thought I liked them. I had to tell them that this is the way I dance.
I hope that majority of crowd r old enough to understand that it is all about dance and all excitment u r getting from it- nothing else.
