A good reason...

What's up, people?

Prologue: I was looking for a hobby for quite a while now (can't believe it really is that hard to find one!) and I really liked guns and shooting and stuff, and I also like sclutping too.. but then I saw a couple dancing salsa, and a light bulb went on over my head.

My question is this: having no background whatsoever in dancing; being more artistic with hands than feet and booty; considering I'm an introvert person, give me five good reason why I should consider dancing at all?

THANK YOU!

1. girls
2. girls
3. girls
4. girls
5... did I mention, girls?

You can quickly learn to map your expression and skills currently residing in your hands onto the rest of your feet and the rest of your body, and be as good at dancing as you are at any other hobby. But unique among the things you have mentioned, dancing is something shared with another person.

You only need one reason:

because a light bulb went on over your head.

Dancing is great for introverts. It provides some structure for interacting with other people. Introvert tenaciousness pays off in the process of learning to dance. And, it eventually can provide an arena for exlporing your less-developed extrovert capabilities, if you choose.

Thanks, guys.. I actually did go to one class a couple of days ago, with a really nice South African girl I met, and I kinda just sat back and watched them warm up a little and dance a little.
When the Salsa music went on I really did feel like my whole body wanted to just sway with the tune, ya know? It's so weird because I never really considered music as something to "dance to"... I mean of course I dance to music, but not in THAT sense where I have to calculate my steps and my arms and movements..not just random shaking.

It was a pleasant observation and when I got home I imitated the basic quick-quick-slow dance and was barely able to stop! My goodness.. talk about doing something you've never done before.

Thanks again for your feedback, though! I really appreciate it.
