Does anybody know of any competitions in the North Carolina / South Carolina area in the fall of this year.

Yes, in late November there is a competition in Raleigh, NC. I was told that this is the ideal competition if it is the first time you are competing. I will post the URL if i can find it.

Yes, the Raleigh Classic. Ambitious but unimpressive dancers competing in an overpriced event on a small stingy floor, who are witnessed and cheered on by an audience which, not exposed to good dancing elsewhere, will appreciate the least display of skill. A must attend for novices. Of course, there is the event at Asheville but that is not one worth mentioning.
