I apologize for my perhaps trivial question. Perhaps since I am a new user I am not actually skilled in navigating through this most interesting site.
Can you please explain the meaning of CBMP? I was unable to find it in the glossary of abbrevuiations.
Thanks a lot from Italy!
Anna

It means "contra body movement position." You'll find it in the dance dictionary in the learning center.

Anna. CBMP or Contra Body Movement Position is applied when the step being taken is outside your partner whether you are going backwards or forward. Without it you would lose connection with your partner and also show two fully exposed hips which is definitely out. It will be fully explained in any technique book.
