Hey,I was just at the nationals competition competing in a syllabus event.I am pretty new to the sport, and when I saw the crazy hairdo's for the amateur competition I was kinda confused.

They had some really awesome do's,and when and if I get into open I would like to copy some of them.
I have tried searching the internet for anyone who knows how to do some of the cool updo's.
If anyone can help me,that would be great.

hmmm . . . i can't think of any right off the bat. Every time I compete, I either just play with it. Some look better than others, but just have fun with it. Eventually you will find a style that you like. It just takes some time.

I say stick with simple at first. If there's a dancer's hairstyle you want to emulate, try to find a pic of the back of their head. Are you talking about standard or latin? Any dancers in particular?
