I was suprised to hear Karen Hardy say she didn' t like Jive. You may do Jive but it doesn' t mean to say that you like it. At Blackpool does anyone have to do Jive before the finals.

I would think so- standard at Blackpool is 4 dances, but latin is 5 dances. Also, you can make the final in pro in only jive so it had to have been danced in the semi and I assume in preceding rounds.

What is modern jive.
What is the difference between east coast swing and jive.i didn't find any except jive starts with rock step.there are any other differences.
Can one maintain the triple step at higher tempo.how to dance in such situation.
if there is any site which gives proper information about jive.

jive is awesome, especially with a fun partner. :)

-it's not so awesome when you're really tired or have sore feet though!! haha

Jive is the dance. Especially with a partener whom you know. It's just too energetic, too happy and too fun. Sore feat, or being tired doesnt matter. If you feel the song and your partener, the body just moves on it's own

Who doesn't love to jive?!! It's such a fun and energetic dance, I think I could attempt to jive all day, but I probably couldn't do it!

I love to compete against people dancing the jive because they always look so happy and everyone seems so nice!

I think they need to bring out some more jive music in todays generation! I've noticed that Candy Man by Christina Aguilera is a jive! More of that type of music would be nice!
