Kelly,

if you miss dancing there is nothing saying you can't go back and dance again, i'm sure since you've been dancing since you were 5 that it will all come back to you very quickly.

Sami.

Hey Kelly!

To advise you on your question, I'd suggest you give some more detail. What would you have to give up to get back into dancing? What did you do during your year off? What are you doing now? And why are your caps locked? Why did you quit? Partner troubles? Tell me about it :\

Where in England are you? I'm in Oxford, competing for the university's dancesport team (on the Latin side). I'm twenty, have barely been dancing for 2 years, just started taking first places at comps, and you won't see me agonising over starting late. And I'll probably quit competing to follow a career in science. But, hey?!

By the way, I've had one comeback to dancesport already, and it didn't seem that hard to me, but maybe you have other worries?

Greetz,

phoenix

Just having an experience in any form of dancing in my opinion gives you an advantage. Go for it! I am not so sure about the X's in your name. If it means x-rated, I'll say forget about it!
