i want to learn

i just wanted to know how can a 1st learn get ball room dancing lessons because i alwaize wanted to ball room dance but i dnt have any experence

Check the yellow pages or google "ballroom dance" and the name of your town. You should find some dance studios that teach ballroom. Check out a few of them--take a group class or an introductory special--before you decide which one is right for you. There are lots of different ways that dance studios operate, so you might want to read the "Getting Started" forum here to see what issues arise for new dancers. Welcome to ballroom!

You might also want to check out your local school board and community college. Their 'continuing ed programs' often offer ballroom dancing at very reasonable prices.

Start with group lessons at the Bronze level and set out to accomplish the goal of dancing the full Bronze syllabus of figures and knowing all the figures by name. Join a college ballroom team. Find a local chapter of USA Dance - www.usadance.com - for assistance and to attend the monthly dances for amateurs.
