Without going to the mentioned web-site I can tell you that Alex Moore never won a Modern Ballroom Dance Competition. His expertise was a dance called the Blues in which he was highly placed in three World Championships held at the Princes Galleries in the very early 20's. The music was very slow and required good balance. It wasn't classed as Modern Ballroom .It went out of favour with the public possibly because of this. But never the less his compiling of the Modern Ballroom Steps at the request of the Imperial Society was brilliant and has stood with the charts for years and will continue to do so. i doubt that it will ever be replaced
