Blackpool Judging

For those who don't know. At Blackpool each dance is judged seperately, and then added together to find the ultimate winner. It is not always that the winner is the winner of all four dances. There is no V. Waltz.
If you are a bit mistified if the compare says all couples stay on the floor. Or he may call out six numbers which may not include all on the floor who danced the previouse dance. One may be replaced in that dance and be recalled in the next.
Also there are afternoon sessions which are danced to select those who go into the evening session. The judges for the afternoon section are not those who judge the evening.
I put this up in case the system used is not understood. The viewiing audience for the first time ever can watch it live. See
www.thedancingchannel.tv follow the instructions.
