You need to figure out what you will personally bring to the business to make it succede.

Are you a master teacher who needs space for your teaching, and for the assistants who you will train? Apparently not.

Can you be a "dancefloor landlord" and build a business where experienced teachers will want to rent space from you to teach and students will rent space to practice?

Are you a consumate salesman who can work the business side, matching up employable teachers with students, making the business side go smoothly, and making sale after sale?

Dreaming is fun, enjoy it until you wake up.

Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.
I'm of the mind that even people who have limitations, if they have a curiosity, they will find a way to explore it.

Savaria Dance Studio in Norwood, MA is one of many studios I know that got started by people who were just taking classes and decided it was fun to start a studio so they did.

Dance teachers are a dime a dozen so if you want to start a studio, go ahead. Its just like anything else, you don't need to be a chef to open a restaurant, you can hire a chef. Chefs are much more expensive to hire than dance teachers (from Russia). You can hire a dance teacher for $10.00 per hour. Arthur Murray Studios do.

Go for it. Think of the negative side, you will have an empty studio to practice at and it is still cheaper than going to someone else's studio.

Good luck

External signs of wealth and success are often cheap storefronts that hide internal mediocrity or even incompetence.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.
There is nothing in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and he who considers price only is that man's lawful prey.
:)))
i will hire the best !!!!!
and i believe that will be the best cause
i am crazy

I always say shopping is cheaper than a psychiatrist.

If you are in an area where there are lots of potential students and not much competition, it could work... Maybe.

If you have some capital and don't have the experience to manage a business, you could hire a manager.

If you have enough dance experience, you could be the dance director. If you don't have that experience, and have some capital, you could hire a dance director.

If you only have enough experience to be an instructor you could do that, and let your employees take care of every thing else, and you could be the owner, provided you have the capital to set all this up.

If you have lots of buck$ and no experience doing any of this, you could find someone that does have all that experience but no bucks, and set up a silent partnership.

If you don't have any starting capital, go back to your old job.
