Hi to All,
Do you believe that the taking of a drug can help in the performance of a dancer?

Luv2Dance.I wish they would clearly show the difference between drugs and perfomance enhancing drugs. Just about all of the last mentioned are legal in the eyes of the law. They may allow a person to train harder. As it is at the present if you are a registered Amatuer Competitor you can be asked to provide a sample any time at any part of the year, thats if you are an Amatuer. If you are a Professional competitor you can tell them where to shove their jar. As an Amature I doubt that I would ever be asked to provide a sample. Only those top ones are targeted. One got a ban simply because she used a slimmimg tablet bought at the local chemist. Watch that what you take doesn't contain subitramine a substance of catogory S6. Another athelete got a ban because they took fluid tablets. It was assumed that the fliud tablets maskes other performance drugs therefore they are banned along with the athelete. Can you wonder why the Professional Association aren't to keen on joining the club. Anyway I would never pass a test and I doubt if many of you would either. But I will never be tested will I .
Here is a paragraph from a document which is still on Dancesport UK Under the heading. "IDSF fails in an Italian Court Case ".
The IDSF members lawyers argued that these championships were being planned unlawfully basing arguments on previous claims by the President of there members body in Italy, that the IDSF through there Olympic recognition, had sole rights and that implementaion of the World Anti Doping measures were not being enforced.
If any of the above is not correct please say so.

Thanks Serendipity for an excellent response. When you are made aware of it, 'Pill Popping' is more common than you would have imagined. It's not uncommon to read in a competition report that after 5 gruelling rounds a particular couple finished fresher than when they started
