hey i had an idea and ran it by my fiance and we were in agreement. i want to learn the forbidden dance and i want to ignite some new and exciting passion in our lives. i'm not saying that there is no passion cause believe me there is PLENTY of passion between my future husband and myself. i just thought that it could also help strengthen my back and maybe speed up the recovery time for me. so i'd like to know if you have lessons that will cater to my injury while having a blast learning and igniting even more passion for me and my fiance, (like we need more but i guess more is always good right?) :) so please respond back as soon as you can and look forward to hearing from someone soon. thanks buy, Summer PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR RESPONCE CAUSE IT WOULD JUST BE EASIER FOR ME TO RECIEVE IT THANKS. MY EMAIL IS summer.1110@hotmail.com

Summer..depending on what type of back injury you have, dancing may be too vigourous to help you heal faster. Dancing actually puts alot of pressure on the lower half of your back.Latin dances use alot of hip motion and holding your frame in smooth can get painful on a sore back. So just be careful in jumping into it too soon...and when you do take it easy, and have fun!

Asking for medical associated help, on this or ANY other forum, is not wise .

My son is a doctor-- even I would not ask him to give me advice, in writing .

I tend to agree with the responses you've received. We've all seen those Warnings posted at the beginning of every exercise video ("You are advised to consult ..."). Dancing may well be excellent therapy for you, but first see a physician and/or physical therapist. Best wishes!
