hi recently our studio has been asked to do a performance at a local theatre were looking for a peice of music that during the song we are able to change from cha cha to salsa.we are unable to cut songs because its to difficult for the theatre to arrange. the song we have at the moment is great for the cha cha but is way to fast for our salsa as most of our group are begginers in street latin.
does anyone have any ideas??? thanks

What about "She bangs" by Ricky Martin.........the Spanish version sounds the best.

Best option is to edit the music so that the beat count slows down to where you want it.
Programs like Adobe Audition can do a really good job.
Recently turned a good salsa song into a nightclub two step for a couples wedding. The song was "Could I have this kiss forever" (Enrique Ignasias)Some songs work well others don't depending on the vocals.
Otherwise the same program can splice two songs togeather but this is more difficult to do seamlessly.
You could also do it with some music systems as they allow that type of option as they play.
