Is it true that after dancing together for less than a year they are no longer dancing? Just something I read and was curious if it was true or not.

This is what i found on the ballroom arkansas website that states...

All the top-ranking US American smooth couples from USDSC in September, 2007 have split, altering the face of that event.

No longer dancing are both 2nd place Eddie Stutts & Valentina Kostenko and 3rd place Mazen Hamza & Irina Sarukhanyan.

Steven Dougherty & Eulia Baranovsky (5th at USDC) have retired. Rumors have added the 4th and 6th place couples (Kostadin Bidjourov & Michelle Offer and Hunter & Maria Johnson ) to the inactive list, too. (results and photos). (January, 2008)

It's the only place that i have found that mentions it so i'm not sure if it's true or not. I know that Steven and Eulia retired after that event but not sure about the others.
