The lady I order my dance shoes from placed my order today. I got Supadance 1401. I got the 1410 before but switched because I needed the dark color shoes and that color was not offered in the 1410. She called me back today and said that the 1401 were back ordered and it could be up to 8 weeks before the shoes came in. Well I had also considered getting the 1413. She placed an order in my size in those but I am not required to purchase them.

Heres my problem:
I need knew shoes bad. I have completely worn down the suede on the bottom and the inside has been glued down a few times. I don't want to purchase the wrong shoes. The 1410 has a T-bar which my old shoes have and I like. The 1413 have a strap that can either be worn around your ankle or around your instep.

Which is your preference? Do you prefer the T-strap or the strap that can be placed around your ankle or instep?

I used to wear the T-Strap because I thought I needed that support. Last year, I switched to the wrap-around ankle strap. I was nervous, but I love them! I feel like I still have nice support and the shoe is much sexier. Go ankle strap!!

That's exactly how I feel. I thought I needed the support. The way you describe the ankle strap sounds good, so I think I'm gonna go for it! :] I agree they are much sexier!

You said that your shoes are worn out. I know the feeling I use to wear my shoes out quickly too. Within a few weeks I would always have the heel worn to a round nub no matter what brand. Know I wear Amys After 5 brand and I couldn't be happier. They lost some much longer then other brands and I have yet to wear out the heel on them They still have the original heel suede and I have been wearing this brand for over a year know! They are fully padded from the heel to the toe and unlike other brands I've tried the padding does not flatten out right away so it stays cushioned longer. They are a fairly new brand but I find them to be more comfortable and made of better materials then even the top brands. And they are 1/2 the price of the top brands! (About $70) Plus my balance improved when I started wearing them. I defiantly recommend giving them a try.
