Serendipidy,thanks but are you saying that starting from a promenade position the right foot (A ball) is count one(3/4 beat) and (1a2} is ( b bflat bflat)

cdroge. I'm saying nothing ,just copying from the book. Step three is forward and across in PP B flat. Step four LF back and slightly to the side B. Its hard following a book. It seems the step you are coming from has a bearing. Can be Preceded by a Whisk to the Left and followed by Samba Walks in Promenade. One thing I can remember the teacher insisted on is ,start on a diaganal and not the LOD lest you leave yourself too far to go when you move across. I hope all of this makes sense. I've got the whole thing on a Hearn tape somewhere. If i find it I'll have a look.
