Jive music?

I'm the beginner ballroom dance student.

Could someone advice me good ( i.e. 1) slow enough 2) well known ) music to practice in Jive?

try Hafanana by afric simone, its a great jive, its a little faster but very well known, i garuntee youll love it...

Get some song names from ballroom music sites...then you can feed these into Kazaa or Limewire and get a preview...Some good ballroom music people actually have these previews available on their websites...so you know you like the type of songs on a given CD before you pay $25 to buy it!

Thats exactly what Im looking for: song names for Kazaa. Problem is that most of songs I have downloaded (say, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's Mr. Pinstripe Suit, or Cherry Popping Daddies Zoot Suit Riot, etc.) corresponds to Big Band swing, and it is too fast.
