Once upon a time the IDMA used to give as part of the medal a little ballroom figure. It was a sturdy thing in Bronze Silver or Gold that could be pinned to the lapel. But that was once upon a time when the actual medal was plated Silver or Gold and of course Bronze and all were engraved with the name and date. I've still got mine.
I think it would be a great idea. I'd go along with a sticker for the cars rear window also.
