cha cha for the first time

so i just switched from rumba to cha cha and i personally love the dance! any tips/suggestions on whats important to remeber in cha cha and how i can improve! thanks!

There was a time when the earth was void of the cha cha. And then once again a variation on the moves and dances of the times and new steps emerged, and they felt good and were fun to do by those who did them. Routines emerged, they were popular with dancers who wanted to love and have with their dancing. And this new dance was named the ... cha cha.
