I really need to find a good rumba music for the showcase.

Any ideas?

Wow...........so much great music out there....what kind of Rhumba are you looking for? Contemporary? Romantic?



Here are some I like for Rhumba....

"Piramides de Amor" (Pyramids of Love) don' know the artist, but I think it is available on this site on an album called Brazil...or something like that. A very sensual rhumba.


"Give In to Me" by Michael Jackson....this is sexy and intense.

"Perhaps" by Doris Day........romantic and fun, classic.

Almost anything by Jose Feliciano for classic rhumba.

Smooth Operator by Sade.

My wife and I did the rumba in a show and the choreographer chose "Sway" by the Pussycat Dolls. It was the version used in the movie "Shall We Dance?"
So that worked pretty well.

I think that version of Sway works better as a Cha Cha.

1) Celine Dion- Prayer ( really romantic and soul touching)

2) Jonas brothers- when you look me in the eyes (contemporary and romantic)

I really appreciate the songs on George Michael's 25. There are several beautiful Rumba's on the For Loving disc. You can create a storyline through dance with them.
