Casting seniors for TV doc series

Documentary series TV MADE ME DO IT is looking for seniors who have been inspired by television to take up dance.

Has a reality show like, 'Dancing With The Stars', or 'America's Ballroom Challenge' driven you to perform? Did watching the NETsationals or the Timeless Torches perform at a televised b-ball game inspire you to audition for a dance troupe? Maybe you've wanted to dance ever since you saw Elvis shake his hips on the Ed Sullivan show.

Whatever your story, we want to hear how TV is making you do it.

Write to samara@propertelevision.com for more information.

How is "senior" defined (i.e. what is the minimum age)?

You don't necessarily have to be a "senior citizen", but I would say not younger than 50.

Here in the UK, amateur competitive dancers are "Seniors" at 35.

Correction: America's Ballroom Challenge is NOT a reality show. It is coverage of a legitimate ballroom competition.

In Australia You are a Senior at 35 years old If your partner is one day under you would in a competition have to dance in the Adult. The next Senior age group is 50 and over. Both must be 50 years old or older. It gets a bit hard if a partnership was a 50 year old dancing with an under 35. They would have to dance in the Adult. None of this applies to Professional competitors.
