Dancing with the Stars --Conspiracy Theory

I was scrubbing my walls this evening as I pondered this season's Dancing with the Stars and the past seasons and I began to wonder....

(Don't read this if you don't have a sense of humor)

Carrie Ann needs a reason to cry and so for the past two seasons the eldest female star has lost a parent. It boosts the ratings, it staves off their certain demise and again....most importantly Carrie Ann gets to cry and tell everyone how inspirational it was that they danced through their pain.

Who will ABC's contract killer get this year? Would it be too obvious to kill off someone related to Susan Lucci, but then there is the reality of Cloris Leachman and her already dead parents.

Perhaps they'll step outside the box and kill someone's sibling...it can't be too close to the star...yet close enough to still be a heartwrenching emotional rollar coaster.

I'm breathless with anticipation...who will die? How far in? Will we ever catch on? Will Lassie warn Maks in time to save Lil Timmy from the well?

Stay tuned for our next episode of...
Some of those folks are DOA

Based on what I saw, one may be forgiven for thinking that some of the contestants have already died.

Even better than a dead parent, Toni Braxton's heart could explode at any moment. Carrie Ann is, of course, over the top in her admiration for Toni's determination to dance even while at death's door.
Carrie Ann over the top? Surely you jest.

The really grating part of what I watched involved the attempts by the "judges" to say something nice about what has to be the stiffest group of "stars" cast for DWTS.

The best that they could have said for the ones that I watched would be "You didn't fall down!"

As I suspected, Cloris provided more entertainement than this show's audience deserves.

Well, what about the ambulance rides! For a twisted ankle & a poked Eyeball! I thought Mrs. Lucci was a fitness guru, but she was a litle stiff, afterwards I thought that she may have been just really, really nervous. Ms. Cloris Leachman hoisted that leg up on the desk, the sensor beeped her bad language. She was funny. I did not see any real stand outs, and did not agree with all the scores. Well, one thing for sure! I would jump in a well myself, if Maks would come save me! I have wanted to dance with that man, since the first time I saw him dance! ScottyBoysDoll

Cloris Leachman died a few years ago, but no one had the heart to tell her.

There was no competition this year, once Trainer was injured. The winner was approprite, but this season wasn't even fun. I fell asleep several times and didn't know what had been danced thta evening. The youngsters were the best thing this season. I prefer So You Think You Can Dance, anyway. It's such a pleasure to watch young professional dancers stretch their wings and expand into unfamiliar areas. I loved the couple last season who thought it was "Vietnamese" Waltz, but learned to do it well.
