Hello everybody,

I am confused reading the ISTD Ballroom Technique:

Man, second step.
Feet positions: Left foot closes to right foot without weight
Footwork: Heel of left foot, then toes of both feet

How do you turn on heel of left foot having left foot closed without weight?

You don't turn on the H of LF!

Step 1 is RF back TH (down), and the turn commences on the RF with CBM.
Step 2 has the H of LF drawn back to RF (as a normal backward walk), bringing the feet together, and only then the rise is taken onto both Toes, and the turn completed.
Step 3 has position held, but there has been no change weight, so the next step is LF back.
