Is there anyone who knows at what age European children learn the Viennese Waltz in school and at what age are they ready to go to a dance? I think the culture is so wonderful and I was curious about it.

Are there "European" children? Where do they live, and where did they come from?

In Australia we have a style of dancing called New Vogue. It is also a competition style. Four of those dances are V. Waltz tempo and are 32 bar routines. Three finish with four bars of Reverse Viennese and one with four bars of Natural V. Waltz. In the Foxtrot tempo there are four 16 bar dances. They end with four bars called a Rotary Chasse. which could be compared to the Natural V. Waltz. We have here very young children learning these dances. So by the time they become mature enough to take on a full V Waltz it comes as no shock to the system having danced these 156 beats per minute V. Waltz tempo dances.
