Hi I would like to get some videos or dvds of ballroom dancing where i can watch and learn. It is very expensive to go and learn at the studios.

It is impossible to learn how to dance from a DVD or tape. You need a partner, first off. No matter how well you dance by yourself adding another person to the mix is a whole different thing. There are alternatives to expensive studio lessons. Look for group lessons, some independent studios offer them at very good rates. Community centers and community colleges offer dance lessons at reasonable prices. If you still want to watch videos, then borrow some from your local library. There are some good ones out there but there are also some terrible ones. Better to borrow before you buy.

Although it is true that you cannot
substitute a partner (males interested
in blrmDancing are VERY hard to find)
you can learn posture and body moves
from videos. Maybe try to find a male newbie to train with you from scratch.
