Worn Out Shoes

Men. Dont throw your old shoes away. The uppers may be worn out but the Green Hide none slip soles are still good. Separate the sole from the shoe and keep it.
This is what I did. I have these shoes which used to have a Cuban type heel. The heel was beyond repair. I stripped it into a completely flat shoe leaving the sole alone.. I got a Black Thong and cut the shape of a heel and stuck it on. Around the house they were fine but on a ballroom floor every step I took they squeaked out loud. So I got the salvaged none slip sole and stuck it over the Thong Heel. They are the now the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The heel has a cushoning effect. The heel height is 3/4 of an inch.
