I hear that IDTA is about to publish a revised ballroom technique, and that instead of having everything in one volume (as Guy Howard 5th Ed.), the dances will be published separately, starting with Waltz, each accompanied by a newly filmed DVD set, with the material more closely matching the modular professional syllabus that has almost completely taken over from the old style single exam.

The current edition of Howard was only published in 2007, so are they just churning the student market for easy cash, or is there really something new here? Does anyone know more, and in particular, know who is dancing in the DVD set?
