Every so often there is a Sunday afternoon dance that's held here in the hanger at a local air museum. Kind of neat if you have an interest in vintage aircraft; the dance area is between a B-29 and a C-46. Lots of room to dance too.

In the SF Bay Area, there are 40's USO dances on the USS Hornet. I've always wanted to go, but haven't made it yet.

The local lindy group here holds demonstration dances at nursing homes generally at around Christmas time. The dance studios from time to time will do this at the shopping malls.
