I'm not musically strong, so listening to music does not really help me to pick which dance goes to what song--I keep trying and occasionally I get it right, but for now, I could use some help.

I'm trying to collect Christmas music, both secular and religious, that fits with Waltz in particular, but all the Standard/Smooth dances.

I plan to give a Christmas party for my friends and I want the sort of music that we can dance to, and have fun with it.

IS there a Christmas album of dance music??? I would LOVE to find one or two...

I think the theme will be red and gold.

I'm confused by Silent Night as a waltz though from the above suggestions.

The web site with the CD is fun, and I'll look into ordering something. Was hoping for more religious music, but perhaps that isn't danceable--but my friends are religious and we were hoping to have more religious music at our Christmas dance.

Still, the standards on the CD suggested are well loved ones!
